Why the certification actually matters here
Truma runs a closed service network. Diagnostics, genuine parts and warranty claims go through certified technicians and dealers, which is why a lot of RV techs will look at a Truma unit and hand it back. Steve holds Level III — the highest Truma technician tier — and TekRV is a Truma Premier Partner Dealer.
Practically, that means two things. Warranty work can be done here rather than routed to a dealer weeks out. And the parts that go in are genuine Truma parts, which matters on a sealed combustion appliance more than it does on most of the rig.
Hard water is the Las Vegas Truma problem
Southern Nevada has some of the hardest tap water in the country, and the Truma AquaGo is a tankless, on-demand heater — water passes over a heat exchanger every time you open a faucet. Scale builds there faster here than the manual's default service interval assumes.
It shows up as longer heat-up, then reduced flow, then a fault. Descaling on a schedule built around this water, and how you actually use the rig, is far cheaper than the repair that follows skipping it. We'll set that interval with you.
Combi or AquaGo — they fail differently
The Combi is a combined furnace and water heater with a tank, so a symptom on the heat side and a symptom on the water side can share one root cause. Diagnosing it as two appliances is how people end up replacing the wrong part.
The AquaGo is tankless and on-demand, with no stored hot water and a very different failure profile — flow, scale and ignition rather than tank and element. We service both, plus VarioHeat furnaces.

Is my Truma still under warranty?
Quite possibly, and it is worth checking before you assume otherwise. Truma's limited warranty runs twelve months from the date of purchase, and registering the product with Truma within two months of purchase extends it by a further twelve — two years of coverage for a form most owners never fill in. I just bought the RV new. Is there anything I should do?
Yes, and almost nobody does it. Register the Truma unit with Truma within two months of purchase and the twelve-month warranty becomes twenty-four. It costs nothing and it is the single cheapest thing you can do for that appliance. If you have already passed the window, tell us and we will look at where you actually stand.
Do I have to take the rig somewhere?
No. Truma service happens at your site — park, storage lot or driveway — which is most of the point of calling a mobile tech for a brand that usually means a dealer appointment.
How often should an AquaGo be descaled?
More often than the default interval assumes, in this water. The right number depends on whether you're parked on city water year-round or only out a few weekends, so we set it against how you actually use the rig.
Can you get Truma parts?
Yes — as a Truma Premier Partner Dealer we order genuine parts directly. On a sealed combustion appliance that distinction matters more than it does elsewhere in the coach. And if a unit is beyond repair, a replacement bought through us gets registered for that same two-year coverage as a matter of course.
