The slide that sticks a little. The pump that sounds off. The A/C you've been babying since June. None of it stops you living in the rig, so none of it gets dealt with — until one of them stops being optional.
We come to your site on the east side and work through the list.
Getting to you
The guard opens the gate for us. They know the truck and they know us well enough that they usually don't ask where we're headed.
If the booth is empty when we arrive, we'll need your gate code. Worth having it ready when you call — it's the one thing that occasionally holds us up here.
Otherwise nothing is needed on your end. Give us your site number and we'll come to you.
Bring us the whole list
Most of our calls here are from people who've been parked a while, and long stays make for a particular kind of work.
If there are three things you've been living with, tell us all three when you call rather than only the one that broke this morning. We leave an hour between jobs, so there's usually room to deal with the rest while we're on site — and one visit costs you one service call fee instead of three.
The things that come up most:
- Air conditioning — blowing warm, tripping the breaker, short-cycling. Summer is relentless on rooftop units here
- Refrigerators — absorption and residential
- Water heaters and furnaces
- Plumbing — pumps, tanks, leaks, toilets
- Electrical — 12V and 120V, inverters, converters, batteries
- Propane systems — Nevada state certified, which few mobile techs are
- Slides, leveling and awnings — the mechanisms that stiffen up when a rig sits in one spot for months
We don't do engines, brakes, tires or dash air — that's chassis work. Call anyway and we'll point you at a shop we trust.
Common questions
Do you need my gate code?
Only if the guard isn't in the booth when we arrive. Have it handy and it's a non-issue.
Can you do several jobs in one visit?
That's the ideal. Tell us everything on the list when you call and we'll plan the time for it.
How soon can you get here?
Often same or next day. In peak summer, rigs with no working A/C go to the front of the line.
Do I need to be at the rig?
Not always. If we can get to it and you can describe what's wrong, plenty of work happens while you're out.
How does pricing work?
A flat service call fee to come to you, plus hourly labor — both quoted before we start, nothing done without your approval.
