Aqua-Hot Repair in Las Vegas

Aqua-Hot heats the coach and the shower water from one system, and it lives in high-end diesel coaches — the ones least likely to be moved for a repair. Steve is an Aqua-Hot Certified Technician, so the diagnosis happens where the coach is parked: a resort pad, a storage lot, or the RV infield at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

What we see most

Electric works, but the diesel burner won't fire — the floor heat still comes on, so the system looks half-working — the burner side needs its own diagnosis
Warm floors, but the shower goes cold — electric alone can heat the floor registers and wash a few dishes; it can't keep up with a shower
Burner lights, then shuts down — fuel supply, airflow and the controller are the usual places to start
Smoke or soot at the burner exhaust — combustion that needs attention before it fouls the burner further
One heat zone stays cold — when the rest of the coach heats, the fault is usually in that zone, not the boiler
Coolant reservoir keeps dropping — the system is losing fluid somewhere, and running it low does damage

An Aqua-Hot 400D in an Entegra coach, in the RV infield at Las Vegas Motor Speedway — October 2026. The electric side was heating; the diesel burner was not. Aqua-Hot's diagnostics for that model, run twice and confirmed with Aqua-Hot tech support, pointed to the controller.

One system, two jobs

Aqua-Hot is a hydronic system. It heats a tank of non-toxic propylene glycol antifreeze and moves that heat two ways: to the zone heaters and floor registers that warm the coach, and through a heat exchanger to the domestic water for showers and the galley.

It has two heat sources: a diesel burner and an electric element. Most of the time the owner never thinks about which one is running — until one of them stops.

Why electric-only feels almost fine

When the diesel burner quits and the electric side keeps going, the coach still feels warm. The electric element is enough to heat the floor registers, and enough to wash a couple of dishes.

What it can't do is keep up with a shower. Electric just can't match that demand, so the first sign of a burner fault is often a shower that goes cold halfway through.

From a recent job: no burner, controller confirmed

An Entegra owner in the RV infield at Las Vegas Motor Speedway called with exactly that: electric working, diesel burner dead. Steve ran Aqua-Hot's diagnostic sequence for that model, and one test failed.

He ran it a second time and got the same result, then confirmed the call with Aqua-Hot technical support before ordering anything. The answer was the Aqua-Hot controller, part WPE-300-901. Repeating the test and checking with the manufacturer takes a few minutes; it means the owner pays for the part the coach actually needs.

We come to the coach

Coaches that carry Aqua-Hot are big, and moving one for a heater repair is a project in itself. We work where the coach is parked — resort pads, storage lots, driveways, and the high-end RV hookups in the Speedway infield, through the tunnel under the track.

Common questions

Can I just run it on electric until it's fixed?

For a while, yes. Electric will keep the floor registers warm and give you enough hot water for a few dishes. It won't keep up with a shower, so if you're living in the coach, plan on getting the burner side looked at.

Do I have to move the coach?

No. We do Aqua-Hot work where the coach is parked, including the RV infield at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

How do you know it's the controller and not something else?

We run Aqua-Hot's diagnostic sequence for your model. If a test fails, we run it again to confirm, and on a call like a controller we check with Aqua-Hot technical support before ordering the part.
