We come to your site. Give us a call and your gate code.
We'll need your gate code
That's the one thing. We're on the park's approved list, but in practice the gate code from you is what gets us in — so have it ready when you call and there's nothing else to arrange.
No calling the office, no meeting us at the entrance. Code and site number, and we'll be at the rig.
Just arrived for the winter?
A lot of people roll into this park in October and stay through the season. If that's you, the rig has either been stored all summer or has just done several days on the road — and both leave their mark.
Worth having looked at before you settle in:
- Batteries — the most common thing we find after a rig has sat, and the most likely to strand you later
- The A/C, before next summer catches you out
- Water heater and furnace — the furnace matters here more than people expect; desert nights get cold
- Anything that rattled loose on the drive down
- Slides and leveling, if they've not moved in months
It's the same check we run before a trip, done in reverse. What's in a full check →
What we work on
Most customers here are long-term, and the work reflects that — rigs that stay put fail differently than rigs that travel.
- Air conditioning — blowing warm, tripping the breaker, short-cycling
- Refrigerators — absorption and residential
- Water heaters and furnaces
- Plumbing — pumps, tanks, leaks, toilets
- Electrical — 12V and 120V, inverters, converters, batteries
- Propane systems — Nevada state certified, which few mobile techs are
- Slides, leveling and awnings
Engines, brakes, tires and dash air are chassis work and not what we do — call anyway and we'll refer you to a shop we trust.
Common questions
What do you need from me to get in?
Your gate code and your site number. That's it.
How soon can you get here?
Often same or next day. In peak summer, rigs with no working A/C go first.
Do I need to be at the rig?
Not always. If we can get to it and you can describe the problem, plenty of jobs get done while you're out.
We're here for the season. Can you do a full check rather than one repair?
Yes, and it's a good idea after a long haul or a summer in storage. Tell us when you call so we can allow the time.
How does pricing work?
A flat service call fee to come to you, plus hourly labor — both quoted before we start, and nothing gets done without your approval.
